Last month, Toyota Corolla Axio GT has unveiled for GT-500 class of 2009 Super GT race. Last week, Team Yoshiki & Dome Project Racing team and Hatsune Miku Studie GLAD Racing team have unvieled those race cars to SUPER GT track.

DOME unveiled its team structure for '09 season. Michigami & Kogure to take the wheel of a black ROCK STAR DOME NSX.

Dome officially announced its team structure for the 2009 season at the Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Tokyo. The team revealed its new collaboration with YOSHIKI, the leader of a popular rock band "X JAPAN," for the season which they will compete with new team name of "TEAM YOSHIKI & DOME PROJECT." Ryo Michigami and Takashi Kogure will continue their combination from last year's No. 18 car. Major names from the worlds of racing and rock match up strong to crown the SUPER GT title.

YOSHIKI and X JAPAN are also known for their passion for cars and motorsports and have sponsored a formula racing team in the past. President of Dome, Minoru Hayashi, explained how the collaboration all came to a light and its goal, "YOSHIKI loves cars very much, and when we were just talking, it kept on going and going and we ended up saying 'Let's do it!' Of course, our goal is to win, but, also, we would like to take a part in stimulating motorsports in this depression."

2009 ROCK STAR DOME NSX

The team will enter the series as "ROCK STAR DOME NSX" this season and their No.18 NSX will have pint job of the energy drink that YOSHIKI is involved as the producer, "ROCK STAR," on the body.

"DOME was the super car of my dream when I was a kid. I am very excited to be able to race together with 'that' DOME. We became series champion when I was involved with the formula racing, so I want to win again," commented YOSHIKI.

2009 Hatsune Miku Studie GLAD BMW Z4

For GT-300 Class, Hatsune Miku Studie GLAD BMW Z4 officially announced its entry into 2009 season and their new team structure in Akihabara, Tokyo. The team will be fielding a BMW Z4 with two drivers, Yasushi Kikuchi and Shozo Tagahara, which retains the same combination from last year, but, according to the announcement, the team structure and the German car went under a major improvement.

The team is newly named "Studie GLAD Racing," and has recruited experienced staff including an engineer who has served as the chief engineer at a victorious GT300 team. "We had a lot of issues last year since it was a newly build team. But most of the issues have been resolved, so drivers can't make excuses any more (laugh). I will put all my effort to finish at as higher position as possible." The BMW driver Kikuchi revealed his aspiration for the new season.

In addition, the team will be backed with a strong support for the season. By following back Hatsune Miku's path to the stardom, the team looked to the Internet for personal sponsors and an amazing 693 fans have offered support for the team. Team Manager Yasuaki Suzuki commented on his goal for this season, "I know it's not easy to finish in top group right away, but we will take on whatever we need to do one by one to meet everybody�fs expectation."
