Followed the latest announcing of 22-inch wheel sets for 2009 BMW 7 Series, Hamann released the first images of the body kit that featured with its tuning programme for the new BMW 7 Series.
The body kit be running on 22-inch rims with the rear boot spoiler, rear roof spoiler, four exhaust-pipes and new side skirts. The interior upgraded with black leather sport seats, sport aluminium pedals and carpets stitched with the Hamann logo.
The current 7 Series comes in a choice of five different engine configurations, obviously depending on the market. The top unit is the 750Li V8 unit with a displacement of 4395 cmc and developing 408 horsepower and 442.5 lb-ft of torque. Producing around 266 g/km, the car accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
BMW offers the other 730d model, powered by 3.0-liter diesel that generates the max.power of 240 hp with 177.7 lb-ft max. torque between 1750 and 3000 rpm. This engine produces 192 g/km of CO2, with top speed of 152.2 mph and 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds.
The previous-generation Hamann 7 (HM 7.1) was announced in 2005 and was based on the 760i/L. Hamman increased the factory V12 engine capacity from 6.0-litres to 7.1-litres and managed to release 510hp (375kW) and 728Nm of torque. The 0 - 100km/h time improved to 5 seconds while top speed went up to 312km/h (194mph).
Other models in the 7 Series range that were tuned are the 745i and the 745iL. These received a 5.2-litre V8 with increased power to 412hp (303kW).
