BANGKOK, Thailand : March 19, 2009 - Siam Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. (SNA), today announced its company's name change to Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.
The name change represents the company's unified approach to enhance the Nissan brand identity in Thailand. The new company name will take effect on April 21, 2009.
"Under the new company name, we will accelerate our efforts to serve our customers in Thailand by offering quality Nissan products and services," said Toru Hasegawa, president of SNA.
The current share holding ratio by the parent company, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., (75%) will not change.
