LEXUS TO PRESENT NEW GS300h AT AUTO SHANGHAI

  •  Extension of the GS series with the new GS 300h

As part of the Auto Shanghai 2013 Lexus will introduce the new GS 300h. In Germany, sales start for the new highly efficient full hybrid sedan is scheduled for late 2013.


The new GS 300h is powered by a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder gasoline engine combined with manifold and direct injection D-4S combined with a powerful electric motor. With targeted CO2 emissions of less than 110 g / km, the new GS 300h is one of the most efficient cars in its segment.

In Germany, the Lexus GS series includes the full hybrid GS 450h at present and the GS 250 with V6 petrol engine. Since the introduction of the new 2012 Lexus GS has sold worldwide last year 47,787 copies of the luxury saloon, and thus the nearly six-fold increase over 2011 sales.
