Spyshot : Lexus LF-A

LEXUS LF-A test run at Nürburgring

After 2 LF-A racecars debut at the latest 2009 Nürburgring 24-hour race with 87th position and incomplete race. Lexus has test the pre-production of LF-A supercar at Nürburgring before world premier at the 2009 Tokyo motor show and to go on sale in 2010.

The design of the LF-A has been upgraded from the concept’s: the headlights hiding behind the light frontal disguise will be less scalpelled and air vents now punctuate the bonnet.

In place of the concept’s bullet-cam door mirrors come a pair of conventional mirrors, while the front grille is changed, with extra cooling vents built into the valance. Cooling the big V10 is clearly a big issue. The triangular triple exhausts remain.

Spyshot : 2010 Peugeot 408

2010 Peugeot 408 Spyshot - 1

French forum, Forum-peugeot.com have spy photos of an unknown prototype of the new model Peugeot, probably sedan Peugeot 408. As the users of the portal, the conveyor machine should stand in the 2010-2011 year, but its debut will be held this year at Geneva Motorshow.

2010 Peugeot 408 Spyshot - 2

Because of the poor quality pictures to address the details of the exterior of the car is quite difficult, however, shows that the design has changed the front of the sedan: there were other head-lamp light, the lower part of which is "cut", change the form of fog lamps and grille. The site Caradisiac also said that the length of Peugeot 408, compared with the predecessor to rise by 12 centimeters.

In addition, it can be assumed that the photographs represented only a conceptual version of Peugeot 408. This is evident too early period debut vehicle, "the exhibition" chrome wheels and a bit strange proportions of body.

Made in China : Ford Fiesta Sedan Spotted in China

The original Fiesta bombed bad in China, but the new Fiesta looks rather interesting! Both the Fiesta, and the Mazda 2 share the same platform, both will come in hatch and sedan variants (the Mazda2 sedan is already available) but previously Ford said the Fiesta may be late launching due to various reasons, however, the Fiesta saloon was out testing earlier this week:

Currently, Chang’an Fords line up consists of the Mondeo, Focus, and the S-Max MPV, which leaves Ford without a domestically produced SUV, or mini car to add to its line up. Ford currently imports the Ford Maverick into China, but its expensive price tag, and small size appear to have limited sales. Should the Ford Fiesta ever make it to the market it in China, it will be up against tough, tough, competition, not only from its cousin the Mazda 2, but from other domestic manufacturers who basically produce their super minis at cost, or make a tiny amount of profit on each vehicle.

More Details UPDATED! : New Nissan 370Z Spotted in LA Before the Show

Recently spied cruising the streets of Southern California was an apparently full production version of the 2009 Nissan 370Z. Set to debut next week at the LA Auto Show, this bright red example of the 370Z was parked innocuously at a local parking structure. We managed to grab these images mere moments before the driver was able to get in and take off out of view.

The new 370Z is visually smaller than the 350Z with a design that evokes the 240Z with its rear sloping design. The all-new sheet metal features bulging, sculpted rear fenders and the same headlight treatment as on the new Maxima. We couldn't confirm any under hood engine secrets but the car was sporting four-piston front and two-piston rear fixed calipers which wore the Nissan name instead of the Brembo logo, as was the case on past 350Z Track models. The 19-inch wheels were covered in 245mm front and 275mm rear Bridgestone RE050A tires. This difference in overall rubber has us assuming that the 370Z features a completely redesigned suspension system versus the 350Z.

The 350Z's signature rear tower brace has been deleted and we spied an aluminum bar structure, closer to the seats and ahead of the rear towers, that we can only assume carries out the same function. We didn't grab an image of the rear design before the car left. We did catch a glimpse of the redesigned interior, which has a new steering wheel, gauge cluster, and center console design. The 370Z does carry over the triple center gauge cluster like the 350Z.

The 370Z is set to be unveiled next week in Los Angeles and then we will finally be able to dig up further details on the new engine setup and any suspension changes. Until then, enjoy and feel free to speculate.
