ALPINA, BMW-Tuner has decided to return to motorsports after a 20 year absence. Alpina will comeback on 2009 FIA GT3 European Championship and scheduled to make its world debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.


The Alpina B6 GT3 built on the current BMW 6 Series. It is powered with a 4.4 liter V8 supercharg engine which generated output to 530PS(390kW) and 535ft-lb (725Nm) of torque. B6 GT3 equipped with 6-speed sequential gearbox that make amazing accerelation 0-100 kmph within 3.9 seconds anr reached to the top speed at 285 kmph at the Nordschleife. B6 GT3 run on the track with 18-inch wheels and Michelin tyres. s 1350 kg (2976 lbs).

Alpina racing team will be starting over again from scratch and be looking for the team performance to make its fantastic comeback.
