Land Rover Defender 'Fire & Ice' Limited Edition

GAYDON : June 9, 2009 - Land Rover is introducing two exciting new limited edition models of the iconic Defender 4x4 - the Defender Fire and Defender Ice. Inspired by the world's most challenging landscapes - where Defenders have earned their reputation for rugged dependability - the Fire & Ice models blend classic Land Rover functionality with a stunning new style.

What strikes the first two limited editions is their striking "two-tone 'colors which are directly the nature of the reference implementation. The Defender Fire distinguishes itself by the shimmering lakkleur 'Vesuvius Orange' metallic for the body, while the body of the Ice Defender is running in the ijswitte solid lakkleur 'Alaska White. These body colors are further accentuated by the two models roof, bonnet, part of the grille and wielkastverbreders are performed in the metallic color Santorini Black.

While the adventurous colors certainly the first landmark of this limited editions, they are not the only details that these cars are different. For example, the exterior of both models completed by numerous exclusive details. That begins with the special vijfspaaks' diamond turned 'alloy rims, made by a special polishing process have been given a unique finish. Front and rear jump directly to the unique headlight headlights with matching panels and the LED rear lamp with clear glass in the eye. Black running boards are standard, as well as a glass sunroof. The exterior equipment is completed with a hook and a protective rod for the steering.

The interiors of the Fire & Ice models are just as special as their exterior designs. Both offer high-quality materials and special interior finishes, with striking color accents the interior even more to life. In the Fire Defender sets the center console panel in Vesuvius Orange 'direct metallic tone, a subtle color that then returned to the stiknaden of steering wheel, seats, tunnel console bergvak and mats. The Ice Defender, the center console panel is the color 'White Alaska, where all stiknaden now in white. Besides these striking color accents, the chair attracts attention. This is on both models in a leather / Alcantara combination, with zijwangen in black leather and center jobs in exclusive, Lunar Gray Alcantara. The headrests have a gepreegd Land Rover logo.

Also with regard to equipment buyers of Defender Fire or Ice Defender nothing too short. It is performed with ABS braking system with four wheel electronic traction system (ETC). Air Conditioning, Heated front seats and heated windscreen are also standard equipment, while the Defender 110 Station Wagon is performed as 7-seater.

The Fire & Ice Limited editions are available as Defender 90 Station Wagon and Station Wagon Defender 110, both on private and company registration. The Fire & Ice Defender is available as a passenger from € 68,400 (incl. VAT & BPM) and company registration starting at € 37,065 (excl VAT & BPM).

Only 850 Defender Fire & Ice cars will be built. The production will begin this summer started with the first cars later this year will be delivered.
