Hyundai confirms small coupe coming in 2011, may be CR-Z Competitor ?

According to Motor Trend, Confirmed at a Hyundai press conference for introducing of a sporty coupe that’s capable of 40 mpg in 2011, possibly reviving the Tiburon name in the process.


Hyundai America CEO John Krafcik said the new model will be heavily inspired by the brand’s Veloster concept, which debuted at the 2007 Seoul Auto Show. Around 80% of the show car’s styling will be implemented on the production two-door, so it should be quite the looker, if all goes as planned.

The new sport coupe powered by 140-hp 1.6-lited GDI (or, gasoline direct-injection) engine that promises high fuel efficiency with a touch of athletic performance and may be competed to the Honda CR-Z in 2011.
