Toyota supplies engines for Le Mans Prototypes, cooperation with the Rebellion Racing Team

2010 Rebellion LMP1 Race Car

COLOGNE : December 8, 2010 - Toyota returns to racing. The Cologne-based Toyota Motorsport GmbH agreed with the LMP1 racing rebellion Racing on the supply of engines for a Le Mans prototype class. Toyota will provide in the upcoming 2011 season as the exclusive partner for two engines rebellion Racing Lola LMP1 car.


By the end of October have begun engineers from Toyota Racing and rebellion in Portugal and Spain with the first test. This important information and data for performance and durability were obtained with the Toyota engine equipped race car.
